Stolen toilet roll

This will be is told!!! Naughty toilet roll thieves. on Twitpic

This made me laugh today when I was at the doctors. It amazes me that someone would be so keen as to steal the loo roll in the first place. It was not fancy paper, just one of those huge, hard, cheap rolls that really should not be used. Someone, somewhere is subjecting themselves to a sore bottom just so they don't have to buy nice paper.

The sun was shining!

The sun was shining so I went for a walk and took a few pictures that showed that the sky was blue, the sun was out and there was no snow on the buildings. At times like this I love Aberdeen!!!

There is something I really do not like about boats but they certainly give you the feel of Aberdeen and when I see them it feels like home.

Strum strum

New year resolution number one:

This is the start of one of my resolutions: to learn to play the guitar. I have practised today and so far so good. My fingers ache tho so that's not the best but apparently it's normal for beginners. Now I need to find more time to enjoy this new past time of mine.

I haven't really got any other major resolutions as I never stick to them. The usual start of the year ideas like keeping fit and eating a healthier diet are not really happening but I will endevour to try.

Went for a drive..

Went out today in search of some decent up to your chin deep snow and boy did I find some. I got just past Inverurie and was greeted with some stunning sights.

It was just a pity that the snow was not suitable to build a snowman. I was fairly dissapointed by that but life does go on.

The only bad thing is the fact that people seem to think that it is funny to throw snowballs at your window risking them getting broken. Sadly they dont think of these consequences when they throw them, or if they do they just dont care.

Grumpy public

Well today the public seemed to be getting grumpier and grumpier the longer this weather continues. People seem more likely to snap at you and are less willing to wait or take their time. Patience seems so 2009 with impatience being the grand theme of 2010. Could we all not be like this seagull and just chill for a while instead of constantly running around.

There seems to be a distinct lack of manner too with people just grunting or saying nothing at all. If they have had a bad day they seem to think that you should have a bad day too.

Come on Aberdeen SMILE for just a second, think of how you make other people feel. Say your pleases and thank yous. Let us all enjoy ourselves for a while.

I MADE IT!!!! YAY

Crosscut by Meg Gardiner

Crosscut (Evan Delaney #4) Crosscut by Meg Gardiner

My rating: 2 of 5 stars
This was a slightly odd book full of unexciting information leading to an all too small climax.

Someone is gradually killing off members of an old high school class and it is up to one class memember to find the killer. Having back ground information about the reasoning of the killings and the possible suspects Evan decides to try and stop the killings before more of her old class and herslef get killed. Of course this can only lead to one thing: she ends up right smack bang in the middle of things and risks her life.

Kinda predicable and slightly boring. Probably would have given up reading it had this not been my 50th book of the 50 I aimed to read last year. Thankfully it did not stop me and I got my goal.
